Both lanes of the M77 motorway have shut after a crash on the incident.
The incident occurred at around 12.10pm at St Martins between J5 Maidenhill and J6 Kingswell.
Police Scotland are at the scene and have closed both lanes following the collision.
Drivers are facing major delays following the incident and Traffic Scotland have advised road user to find a different route.
Eyewitnesses have also reported lengthy delays near Eaglesham Moor with no current predictions on when the road will reopen.
