Boswall Drive in Edinburgh will close to traffic on Sunday as part of the ongoing Ferry Road works.
The route, which is used by many to access parts of the Pilton and Trinity areas, will be off-limits to traffic in order to allow a project to upgrade telecoms equipment to continue.
Works on Ferry Road started on Tuesday (30 July) at 9.30am and are expected to continue until 4pm on Friday 9 August.
The City of Edinburgh Council say that lane closures will remain in place there, along with two way temporary traffic lights. The Boswall Drive road closure is expected to be lifted on Monday morning.
Motorists in and around Edinburgh are also being warned to expect heavier traffic than usual around Ingliston and Edinburgh Airport as Truckfest is on all weekend.
