Boston’s Jayson Tatum to host first-ever charity golf tournament to benefit his foundation

It became pretty common knowledge among Boston Celtics fans during the Disney bubble playoffs of 2020 that All-Star forward Jayson Tatum got into golf, becoming pretty good at the sport in a hurry.

It’s also no secret the St. Louis native does a lot of charity work with his platform, so it was probably just a matter of time before those two threads became entangled for Tatum in a good way. The Duke product is organizing his first-ever Jayson Tatum Foundation Charity Golf Tournament to benefit his eponymous foundation. To be held on September 21 at the Old Hickory Golf Club located in St. Peters, Missouri, a suburb of Tatum’s hometown.

The event, which will also feature a silent auction of autographed jerseys, Jayson Tatum-themed art, workouts with Tatum’s trainer Drew Hanlen and more, is officially sponsored by Gatorade and Jordan Brand.
