Boston’s Jayson Tatum makes 2020 ALL-NBA Third Team honors

Boston Celtics All-Star swingman Jayson Tatum can now add All-NBA to his list of accolades after being named to the NBA’s Third Team in that designation according to a press release provided by the NBA.

Tatum is joined by the Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons, Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler, Utah Jazz’ Rudy Gobert and Houston Rockets’ Russell Westbrook on the Third Team.

The Second Team consists of the Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chris Paul, and Toronto Raptors’ Pascal Siakam.

The First Team is made up of the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic, and Rockets’ James Harden.

The All-NBA election is Tatum’s first, as was his All-Star bid earlier in the season.

To date in the regular season, the St. Louis native has averaged 23.4 points, 7 rebounds, an assist and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 40.3% from beyond the arc and 45% overall.
