Newspaper photographer Russ Dillingham is assuming hero status in Boston. First, he captured dramatic images of a fugitive jumping from a balcony to escape police. Second, he captured the suspect. Third, when police arrived, Dillingham captured more pictures of the man being handcuffed and led away. See his pictures here. He was applauded when he arrived back at the office of his paper, the Sun Journal. Dillingham's boss, executive editor Rex Rhoades, said: "We're all very proud of Russ. He's a stud."
