Boston Celtics center Robert Williams III is playing the most minutes of his career this season by far, so small injuries are bound to pop up as his body gets used to the load increase. The big man has missed the last three games due to left knee tendinopathy but is probable to return against the Houston Rockets Monday night.
The Celtics (9-8) have gone on a mini-run without Williams or star Jaylen Brown, beating the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder in their last two games. Now potentially adding each of the two back into the fold to face a one-win Rockets team gives the team an even better chance to continue their better play.
Williams spoke with the media ahead of the game on Monday morning and said his knee is feeling good.
