Boston Celtics annihilate Warriors 140-88 in historic blowout

For the first half of the first quarter of the Boston Celtics‘ 140-88 blowout win over the Golden State Warriors at TD Garden on Sunday afternoon. Then, Golden State big man Draymond Green elected to sag off star Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, and the Georgia native made him pay for it.

Putting up 19 points of his 29 total points in the first frame, Brown reveled in the odd choice by the Dubs, and it set the subsequent beatdown in motion that had Boston up by a historic amount at halftime. The Celtics would finish the game with their third-largest margin of victory, for good measure.

If there were any demons remaining for Boston with the Warriors, they have been thoroughly exorcised now.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast broke down the history they watched unfold postgame. Check it out above!
