One of the places hardcore NBA fans turn to scratch their basketball itch in the so-called dog days of summer for parquet-oriented content is the history of the league. And while it might not be red-letter history of the sort that makes it into the annals of the sport, every game of the 82-contest season is by definition part of that history.
It can be nearly as dull as the doldrums of summer in the midst of the slow part of a regular season, but sometimes, even then, a tight contest punctuated by a game-winning shot can make slogging through even the dullest contests worth it.
With all of that in mind, the NBA put together a collection of the very best such game winners over the last seven years, the Boston Celtics among them.
