Guingamp have not given up hope of keeping Kalidou Sidibe despite reported interest from Celtic.
The 6ft7in midfield player has been linked with a move to the Hoops in recent months with claims they were preparing a £1.7million offer.
There is also reported interest from other clubs, including Ipswich, PSV Eindhoven, Toulouse and Grasshoppers.
Sidibe was quoted as saying he was happy at the Ligue 2 side but player and club's resolve could be tested in the summer with such a clamour for him.
Guingamp boss Sylvain Ripoll has now spoken on the matter and admits he's aware the 26-year-old is likely to look at his options. However, he still has a year left on his deal and Ripoll would be delighted to see him stay.

Asked about the future of both Sidibe and Hugo Picard, he said: "I'd hope so, but I'm not fooled either. They probably want to see what's going on there.
"They only have one year left on their contracts. As long as their interests are protected, the club will listen.
"So there must be the requests the players want and the club must be protected.
"But if they stay with us, I would be very happy."
