The Blues have been involved in goal-fests against Reading and Red Bull Salzburg over the past week and their manager will no doubt want to see a more assured defensive display in Germany.
Gladbach have recorded wins over Guangzhou R&F, FC Monchengladbach, Istanbul Basaksehir, Rayo Vallecano and Angers during pre-season, but were bested by Athletic Bilbao last time out.
