Borussia Dortmund reject £67m Jadon Sancho transfer bid from Man Utd

Manchester United have had a £67m bid for Jadon Sancho turned down.

And Borussia Dortmund are determined to hold out for an extra £10m to get a deal done for the England winger.

United and Dortmund have restarted talks for the 21-year-old who was locked in a transfer tug-of-war between the clubs last summer.

But ultimately Dortmund did not want to sell and put a price of £100m-plus on his head - and yet are now back round the negotiating table.

Sancho’s contract has another two years left but Dortmund are open to selling him if they can agree a price and want around £77m with another £4m in add-ons.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said: “He is allowed to move under specific circumstances.”

Sancho has been hoping to agree a deal before the start of the Euros and while that looks unlikely there is genuine hope it will get done in the long term.

Former Manchester City academy graduate Sancho is keen on a switch back to England and Old Trafford appeals.

United see him as their No1 transfer target this summer and he is likely to be their big deal ahead of any move for Tottenham ’s England captain Harry Kane.
