Borussia Dortmund prepare for Jadon Sancho exit by eyeing transfer for ex-Man City teammate

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly preparing for life without Jadon Sancho - and could turn to his former Manchester City youth-team teammate Javairo Dilrosun.

Sancho's incredible rise to stardom has seen Europe's biggest clubs - including Barcelona , Real Madrid , Manchester City, Liverpool , Manchester United and Chelsea - monitor his progress in Germany.

But recent reports claimed that United are winning the race to sign the England international and are willing to meet Dortmund's eye-watering demands.

Sancho will have at least a £100million price tag slapped on him by Dortmund  - but United will not be put off by the huge fee in their pursuit.

Dortmund are seemingly accepting that they may be forced to cash in on their star player, and Bild have claimed that they have compiled a list of two potential targets.

Their No.1 priority is Hertha winger Dilrosun, who played in the City youth team after signing for the Premier League giants from Ajax in 2014.

However the Holland international failed to break into the first team at the Etihad and, like Sancho, opted for a move to Germany when Hertha came calling in 2018.

This season, the 21-year-old attacker has notched up three goals and two assists in just six league games - performances that have alerted the attention of Dortmund.

Valencia's Ferran Torres, 19, is an alternative option for the German giants, having watched the Spain U21 international this campaign.

Dortmund, however, may be alarmed by his lack of attacking prowess this season - he has failed to hit the target so far and managed just one assist in 10 matches.
