Borussia Dortmund admit they are losing patience with Man Utd target Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund have admitted they are losing patience with Manchester United and Chelsea target Jadon Sancho - saying the England winger is 'not easy' to deal with.

Sancho landed himself in trouble at the weekend when he reacted angrily to being fined by the German League (DFL) for breaking lockdown rules by getting a haircut.

The 20-year-old was fined $10,000 for inviting a hairdresser into his home. Sancho labelled the DFL's decision an "absolute joke" - and was promptly told by his team-mate Emre Can to "grow up".

It is the latest in a string of disciplinary incidents which have blighted an otherwise impressive season from Sancho - but it hasn't stopped the likes of United and Chelsea from targeting him in the summer transfer window.

The bidding will start at £80m or more for a player who has scored 17 goals and provided 17 assists in 28 Bundesliga matches this season.

But the club's sporting director Michael Zorc has suggested that Sancho's off-field antics are becoming a distraction.

“Jadon is not only an exceptional footballer who is noticeable on the pitch but now and then also outside of the pitch," Zorc told SportBild.

"Sometimes it’s not easy for us.”

Back in October Sancho was fined and left out of the squad for one of Dortmund's games after he returned late from international duty with England.

A month later he was benched for a Champions League clash against Barcelona after missing a team meeting.

His social media posts of his lavish Christmas holiday during the Bundesliga's winter break didn't go down well with some fans either.

While Chelsea have been linked with a move for Sancho this summer, the West London club believe he is headed for United.

Frank Lampard's side have instead been linked with a £75million move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
