Borussia Dortmund £33m target helps increase Chelsea's chances of landing Karim Adeyemi

It sounds like Hakim Ziyech is open to a move away from Chelsea as early as January.

Can’t say that I didn’t see this coming.

The Hakim Ziyech transfer was unfortunately not what we expected it to be. Following his mind-blowing performances for Ajax, particularly in the Champions League, fans expected him to light up the Premier League. Instead, the Moroccan has struggled for game time and struggled to adapt.

He is still one of the best magicians in the game and that’s why Borussia Dortmund has been monitoring his situation very closely. With that in mind, Ziyech’s last hurrah could be moving away to Dortmund so that the BVB back off of Karim Adeyemi.

Chelsea has made contact with RB Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi. The centre forward has impressed in the Bundesliga so far this season and is proving to be a future star. Playing upfront with another centre forward, Noah Okafor, there’s no need to worry as to whether he will be able to play alongside Romelu Lukaku. The only worry is how to fit him into the team and get the other clubs to back off.

Borussia Dortmund are in the competition to obtain the 19-year-old’s signature, so it’s only right that we send them another direction. How about an Hakim Ziyech transfer coupled with a Timo Werner loan? According to reports, BVB is also interested in the German forward as a move for Erling Haaland is all but imminent.

With the pair struggling for game time at Chelsea, it may be a win-win situation for both to part ways and find solace in the Bundesliga. Ziyech’s transfer looks more than likely as reports claim that he ‘definitely’ wants to leave, whilst Werner is still peaking the interests of teams such as Bayern Munich.

Having shared precious memories with both players, it would be hard to say goodbye, but it might be time to move on. Chelsea needs a youthful resurgence in their attack. Adeyemi is as gifted as they come in front of goal. He has scored 15 goals in 22 matches so far this season for RB Salzburg.

Also joining the race for the young German international is Liverpool and Inter Milan. It’ll be interesting to watch all clubs play their cards for the rising baller. For Chelsea, exits need to happen and they need to happen fast in order to secure Adeyemi’s signature as quickly as possible.

Thank you Ziyech for the Champions League nights, we do wish you well for your next endeavour. If it is to Borussia Dortmund, please do us a favour and tell them to back off Adeyemi.
