Borna Barisic has revealed he will get a scan to see whether his injury will keep him out of the Old Firm game on Sunday.
Rangers ' Croatian international defender limped off during their match against Hungary - the second game in a row he'd started for his country.
The former Osijek full back has been troubled with a succession of injuries since his £2 million summer move to Ibrox.
And he now faces a sweat to see if he will make the crucial Celtic Park showdown this weekend.
Barisic said: "I felt a bit of pain and tried to play on for a few more minutes, but it was too much and I decided I had to go off.
"I am hoping because I got treatment very early on it will not be too serious.
"I will get my leg scanned and I am hoping I get the all-clear to keep playing, but I won't know for sure until after the scan.

"As a Croatia player I am very disappointed with the start we have got off to in the Euros. We were not aggressive enough and didn't create enough opportunities.
"Congratulations to Hungary because they deserved their win."
