Bella and Simba are lions. They both lived in small cages. Bella had a sore left eye and the animal doctors had to take that eye out, that was the only way to fix it. She had a sore right eye but that got better.
Bella got moved to a bigger place and Simba got moved to the same place as Bella. First off they were fighting, and soon after they had seen each other for a little bit, they soon got used to each other and didn’t fight any more.
I liked that it was a real story because they soon liked each other. I liked seeing the photos because they remind me of real lions. My favourite was Bella because she was a lioness.
This book made me change my mind so I like lions now. Lions are dangerous because when they see people they try to chase them and eat them for their dinner. But when they’re in enclosures in the zoo it’s safe without opening the door. Enclosures keep lions safe because if they ate a porcupine they might die quickly in the wild.
I would recommend this book to a 5 year old like me and also grown ups and kids who don’t like lions so they realise how lions can be.
I loved this book 100 million times driving to the beach in the car, in one whole day.
