I've been trying to get round to writing about the City Hall counter offensive against Ian Clement and Boris taxi expenses setbacks - a further sign, I'd say, of some earnest re-grouping by the leaders of the depleted mayoral team. Unfortunately, though not unsuitably, I've been distracted by filled in my overdue VAT return. Tragic, eh?
