Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson appears to have a new look as he sported a beard on his family holiday to Greece.
Carrie Johnson has shared a carousel of photographs from the family’s “favourite place” as they enjoyed their summer getaway.
In one picture the former prime minister can be seen smiling as he plays with his daughter Romy, who was born in 2021.
The politician is sporting a brand new beard and has swapped his scruffy suits for a pair of swimming trunks decorated with fish and a dark blue t-shirt.
Further pictures show Mrs Johnson, 37, smiling as she basks in the sun in her bikini, the family eating out as well as the couple’s three eldest children playing on the beach.
The couple’s fourth child Poppy Eliza Josephine was born on May 21 and Mrs Johnson can be seen carrying her newborn in a baby carrier in one of the photos.
At the time Mrs Johnson described how their other children Wilf, Romy and Frank were “utterly delighted, particularly Romy who was desperate for a little sister” and joked that Poppy was the family’s “final gang member”.
Mr and Mrs Johnson had their first child, Wilfred, in April 2020, in the early months of the Covid-19 crisis.
Mr Johnson, 61, also shares four children with his ex-wife, lawyer Marina Wheeler, and a child, born in 2009, as a result of an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre.
Succeeding from Theresa May, Mr Johnson was prime minister from July 2019 until his resignation in September 2022.
