Boris Johnson has been slammed for lashing out at Kermit The Frog during his speech about climate change.
The Prime Minister claimed that much loved muppet Kermit was wrong for claiming 'It's Not Easy Bein' Green' in a song.
Boris instead told his US audience at the United Nations Assembly that it was 'easy, lucrative and right' to be green.
However his attempt to engage viewers ahead of Glasgow's Cop26 summit which he has called 'the turning point for humanity' has made him go viral - for all the wrong reasons.
And Kermit himself doesn't appear to be too impressed by the message if social media users are to be believed.
Pictures of Kermit looking sad flooded the internet with one user saying: 'Kermit when he finds out Boris used him in a speech.'
Another person wrote: 'Kermit would be less of a muppet and a better PM."
Someone else said: 'It's official, Boris Johnson's advisers are muppets! Could someone break it to him gently - Kermit isn't real.'
Another said in disbelief: "Yeah he quoted Kermit the Frog."
Another asked: 'Did Boris Johnson really just mention Kermit the Frog at the UN General Assembly?'
Boris also said that the Earth wasn't 'some indestructible toy' and explained: "The world - this precious blue sphere with its eggshell crust and wisp of an atmosphere - is not some indestructible toy, some bouncy plastic romper room against which we can hurl ourselves to our heart's content."
"Daily, weekly, we are doing such irreversible damage that long before a million years are up, we will have made this beautiful planet effectively uninhabitable - not just for us but for many other species."
