A classic EastEnders clip has resurfaced online of Boris Johnson making a cameo in the Queen Vic.
Mega-fans of the BBC One soap will remember that the Conservative politician had an exchange with iconic pub landlady Peggy Mitchell ( Barbara Windsor ) back in 2009.
Now, as Boris faces the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Twitter users have been passing the rather awkward clip around on social media and the comments have not been kind.
One Twitter user captioned the clip: " Boris Johnson ’s 2009 EastEnders appearance seems even more surreal now than it was then."
A second person disagreed, however: "It was surreal then. Nothing is surreal anymore."

Meanwhile, another tweeted: "Why are you trying to make me puke to death? Why?"
A different commenter replied to the clip: "God a s***e actor as well as everything else."
Another was just surprised to discover the news, writing: "never knew he was in Eastenders."

Finally, ITV political correspondent Paul Brand shared the clip and wrote: "I challenge you not to cringe."
Sadly, Boris has bigger things on his mind right now as the UK government continues in its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Prime Minister has also been confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating and governing the nation from his home.

Meanwhile, EastEnders episodes have been rationed to only twice a week to keep the soap on our screens for as long as possible since filming shut down.
However, EastEnders' executive producer Jon Sen has confirmed that work is still being done behind the scene s to plan future storylines for when the beloved London-set soap returns to production.
Sen shared on Twitter: "Thank for all your messages. Just to let you know that after the news last week that we are postponing filming, we are all still working hard behind the scenes planning stories for when we return. #eastenders."
We just can't wait for all of this to get back to normal as soon as possible!
EastEnders airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on BBC One.
