Boris Johnson’s waxwork has been fitted with a baby carrier following the news that his fiancée is expecting a baby.
Madame Tussauds added a baby strapped to chest of the Prime Minister’s wax model, which stands outside a mock-up of Downing Street.
Steve Davies, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, said the gesture was meant to congratulate Mr Johnson and "help him prepare for his new arrival".
"We are sure that, even though he holds the top job in the country, he'll find time for fatherly duties," he added.
Mr Johnson reportedly does not know about the change to his wax figure.
Mr Johnson and Carrie Symonds announced their engagement and Ms Symonds' pregnancy last week.
Ms Symonds revealed the news in an Instagram post on Saturday evening with a picture of her and the Prime Minister.
It read: ‘‘I wouldn’t normally post this kind of thing on here but I wanted my friends to find out from me.
“Many of you already know but for my friends that still don’t, we got engaged at the end of last year… and we’ve got a baby hatching early summer.”
Mr Johnson said on Tuesday he would “almost certainly” take paternity leave when his new child is born.
The Prime Minister, 55, has five confirmed children but it is the first child for Ms Symonds, 31.
Mr Johnson will become only the fourth prime minister in more than 170 years to have a child while in his senior position, following David Cameron, Tony Blair, and Lord John Russell.
