Carrie Symonds is returning to work after landing a high-ranking job at a famous animal charity, it has been reported.
The fiancee of PM Boris Johnson has been hired by conservation group the Aspinall Foundation, the Sunday Telegraph revealed.
Nine months after giving birth to the couple's son Wilfred, the animal lover has accepted a position of head of communications for the wildlife charity.
The foundation states its mission is to protect endangered species and return captives to the wild.
It was set up by professional gambler and zoo owner John Aspinall in 1984.

The charity currently has projects in the Congo, Gabon, Java and Madagascar, India and Cambodia.
Symonds, 32, is a conservationist who has in the past campaigned for animal welfare.
She was previously director of communications for the Conservative Party, having also worked for Tory MP John Whittingdale and former chancellor Sajid Javid as a special adviser.

In 2020 Symonds was named "person of the year" by leading animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta).
The charity described her as "a fearless force for good" in terms of animal welfare.
