Prime Minister Boris Johnson has expressed concern over his dog’s ‘romantic urges’ while speaking to a police dog handler at Surrey Police headquarters in Guildford.

During the visit with Home Secretary Priti Patel, Johnson’s Jack Russell-cross soon became a bizarre talking point.

Johnson was seen chatting with one officer before he randomly quizzed about Zorro the German Shephard’s libido, “Do you have to worry about his romantic urges?” The Prime Minister asked.

To which the officer responded, “Urm, not so much – Not yet... We’ve not had any issues yet.”

In a random turn of events, the Prime Minister revealed how Dilyn the dog liked to exercise his urges – “My dog is endless.... on people’s legs.” He said.

The Home Secretary laughed as Johnson shared the experience about his own dog.

Dilyn, the Downing Street dog, was adopted as a puppy by the prime minister and his wife Carrie back in 2019. The rescue dog previously made headlines back in March 2020 when Johnson’s wife denied a report that the pair could get rid of the dog.
