Boris Johnson dodges reporters to party with hen do at Aberdeen airport as he jets in to meet sleazy MP

Wannabe Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday displayed all the traits that should disqualify him from high office.

He touched down in Aberdeen a week behind his Tory colleagues – who it is believed barred him from their Scottish conference.

Instead, he slipped into the city for an overnight stopover to support his House of Commons pal, Aberdeen South MP Ross Thomson, who earlier this year, was accused of groping men in the House of Commons Strangers’ Bar.

But true-to-form, BoJo couldn’t help himself as airport chiefs rolled out the red carpet.

As he made his entrance, he bellowed to no one in particular: “Can you fly to Texas from here?”

But the serial love cheat was quickly distracted and made a beeline for a hen party.

The women were waiting for a Birmingham flight in the revamped airport’s Distilling House bar.

Boisterous Boris, swigging a glass of Irn-Bru, joined the hens and happily posed for photographs.

He boasted that he had drunk Irn-Bru as a mixer with Scotland’s other national drink.

Maybe this was the launch of his Conservative Party leadership bid and an attempt to woo the Scots but his drink soon lost its fizz.

Boris’s mood changed when he spotted the Daily Record and the waiting press pack outside with some serious questions to ask.

He wandered around the departure lounge at Bristow Helicopters, much to the bewilderment of oil workers.

One said: “No one had any idea why Boris was there but he was instantly recognisable with that mop of
blonde hair.

“Most of us are either waiting for a chopper offshore or heading for home.”

Boris pointed to the media posse shut outside but performed a quick about-turn and made his exit from a side door into a waiting car.

Boris was in Aberdeen to attend a fundraising black tie dinner last night with Thomson, who remains under investigation by embarrassed party chiefs.

A Scottish Tory source said Boris’s visit was private and had no official status.
