Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt can't say even one nice thing about one another

The ITV debate wasn't the most exciting event of the year.

Or even of the week.

If it made the highlight of your day will really depend on what you had for lunch.

And it certainly didn't give us much insight into what our next PM - probably Boris - has planned.

But we did learn something.

Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt really really really do not like each other.

Seriously every time they got a chance they took a little potshot at one another.

In fact even asked what quality they most admired in their opponent as a future prime minister, Mr Johnson paused for a long time.

Eventually he said: "I greatly admire his ability to change his mind and campaign for Brexit now and I think that's a very important attribute."

An equally stinging Mr Hunt said: "I really admire Boris's ability to answer the question. I think he has this great ability - you ask him a question, he puts a smile on your face, and you forget what the question was.

"It's a brilliant quality for a politician, maybe not a prime minister though."
