Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds have welcomed the arrival of their first child together.
The “healthy baby boy” was born in an undisclosed London hospital this morning, less than three weeks after the PM was discharged from St Thomas’s where he was treated for Covid-19.
Well-wishers from across the political spectrum have shared their congratulations to the couple, who announced their engagement and Ms Symonds’ pregnancy in February.
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who deputised for the PM during his absence, will lead Prime Minister’s Questions today.
