Double-jabbed Brits will have a "real opportunity" to travel abroad this summer, Boris Johnson has said.
The Prime Minister has dropped the biggest hint yet that restrictive quarantine rules will be axed for vaccinated Brits who fly back from amber list countries.
The Mirror reports that the Government may make a formal announcement on the new travel policy later on Thursday.

Mr Johnson told reporters: "I think the real opportunity we all have now is to open travel through the double jab.
"We’ve got more than 60% of our population have now had two jabs, I think 83% have had one jab, we’re really getting through it now. The crucial thing is come forward and get your second jab."
But he added he has not yet made holiday plans himself - saying "my plans at this stage are at the unformed stage, I’m afraid." He added: "I'm certainly not ruling it in or ruling it out."
And the PM added a note of caution, saying: “Now I’m not going to claim this summer for travel purposes is going to be like any other summer.
"I don’t want to cast a pall over things, but as I said the other day, it will be different."
It comes amid hopes millions of British holidaymakers will finally be able to get some summer sun abroad - as a handful of holiday islands are put on the travel 'green list'.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps is expected to add the Balearic Islands and Malta in his three weekly review of the traffic light system - which takes force on Monday.
Ministers, who will make a final decision this afternoon, are under pressure to expand the green list.
Government scientists advised ministers that popular holiday spots like Ibiza and Mallorca are now safe.
But mainland Spain is expected to stay on the amber list for now - meaning travellers would have to self-isolate on return at home.
An update on the quarantine and testing policy for double-jabbed Brits is also widely expected this afternoon.
Currently, Brits who return from amber list countries must take three Covid tests and self-isolate for up to 10 days in their homes.
There have been reports that for those with two doses of a vaccine and their children, this could be cut to one full test - and then daily rapid tests instead of self-isolation.
It’s not thought changes to the policy for double-jabbed Brits will happen immediately.
Ministers are still split over dates - with some pushing for July 19 but August looking most likely.
