The FT reports:
Boris Johnson is now "much happier" with security plans for the 2012 Olympics and expects their costs to fall within the £600m allocated, people close to the London mayor say.
Word is he thinks the "direction of travel is better" and that he's confident the budget won't be burst. Still lots of catching-up to do though, and no London mayor is going to want to look even indirectly culpable for a 2012 terror attack.
