'Borderlands 4' Update Brings Limited-Time Halloween Event 'Horrors of Kairos'

"Borderlands 4" is getting into the Halloween spirit with a limited-time event that is part of its most recent update.

The event, which is called "Horrors of Kairos," begins from October 23 to November 6 and gives players the chance to earn two Legendary weapons.

According to a report by GameSpot, the two weapons that players may earn are the Legendary Order Grenade and Legendary Tediore Assault Riffle.

A seasonal weather variant is also introduced as part of the event that will let players experience "a terror-inducing blood rain" during boss encounters.

'Borderlands 4' Update

As GameSpot notes in its report, the game's most recent update is one of the biggest updates ever since the game has been released.

Aside from the "Horrors of Kairos" event, the update also includes instructions for PC players who are using NVIDIA GeForce hardware. The instructions pertain to updating drivers to version 581.57.
