Borderlands 4 unveils final DLC Vault Hunter, a stunning tech-savvy queen fans say "looks like a netrunner from Cyberpunk"

Borderlands 4 Loveless Vault Hunter.

The work on Borderlands 4 isn't over quite yet, as Gearbox reveals the final Vault Hunter to come this September as part of the looter shooter's optional Story Pack 2 DLC – and she is downright stunning, to be fair.

Her name is Loveless, as per her short teaser from Gearbox, and she's "an ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin," according to the developers. "Equipped with the highest-end cybernetics, Loveless also shares her mind with a digital virus of her own creation, which can digistruct into a physical form that acts as a deadly extension of her shared, perfection-seeking will."

She sounds absolutely badass – and straight out of Cyberpunk 2077, honestly.

I'm not alone in thinking so, either. The top comment also likens her to a Cyberpunk hacker, reading, "We got a netrunner in Borderlands." Another further down exclaims, "She looks like a netrunner from Cyberpunk" – and yes, yes she does.

There are some other interesting comparisons in fans' replies, with some even citing Ciri from The Witcher 3, and others asserting that "she looks like an Aldar from Warhammer 40k."

Overall, the community seems thrilled with Loveless' design – and, I mean, how could they not be? From her long white hair done up in a high ponytail to her gold piercings and cat-like expression, she's drop-dead gorgeous. If looks could kill, and all that… Not to mention the tech-savvy queen's description from Gearbox.

The whole "digital virus" bit is intriguing, to say the least, and I'm personally excited to see how it affects her in-game.

If you're as sold on Loveless as I am, you can grab the Vault Hunter Pack now on Steam for $49.99. It includes both Story Pack 1 and 2, along with Rogue – and soon, Loveless. If you bought the Super Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 4, however, you don't need to purchase any DLC for extra money, as it'll all land automatically in your copy.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a teaser to rewatch… and a game to redownload.

Gearbox head Randy Pitchford says Borderlands maker won't use AI for "any work that could ever be seen" after posting ChatGPT-generated image of a Gearbox employee.
