Boozy slushies are going down a treat and selling out at store

Combine alcohol and slushies on a warm sunny day and what do you have? A winner.

This Premier store has been selling a range of flavours of boozy slush drinks which have been going down a treat with thirsty shoppers in April during the warm weather.

New flavours are constantly being brought in for the icy mixture, from rhubarb and custard to lemon and grapefruit using Brothers cider.

They've also thrown in Iron Bru and Monster energy drinks into the mix to play with the flavours.

A spokesman at the store in Town Street, Sandiacre, told Nottinghamshire Live: "We are sticking with Brothers ciders for the slushies as they’re my personal favourite and have supported our business in the past.

"So far we’ve done rhubarb and custard cider and toffee apple.

"They’ve both sold out on each weekend and have tasted fantastic.

"We’re selling them for £3.50 each and offer to deliver locally.

The store is going to bring in marshmallow cider for this weekend coming and grapefruit and lemon cider after that.

"I ask my customers what they want to try and I go with the majority."

The store adds it will check the ID of shoppers wanting to pick up a boozy slush.
