Boots is set to start offering coronavirus vaccines in Liverpool from today, with people able to get their jab in store.
The Boots store at the New Mersey Retail park in Speke will be the first store in the city to offer vaccinations, but others are expected to also offer the vaccine in the future.
The site will administer the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and will operate from specially-designed facilities in the Speke store.

Patients will be invited directly by the NHS to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment at the Boots Liverpool pharmacy.
Boots opened its first vaccination site in Halifax and has already helped numerous patients from the local community to receive their first vaccine, the company says.
The retailer has also recently started to offer vaccinations in other pharmacies including Bluewater, Gloucester and Huddersfield, with an option to expand further to more Boots stores in the future.
The government is currently aiming to vaccinate everyone over 70, NHS staff and the clinically extremely vulnerable by February 15.
Under the vaccine priority list the next group receiving the vaccine will be the over-65s, before going down the age groups and the clinically vulnerable.
