Boots store in North Wales going up for auction this month

The Boots store in the centre of a North Wales town is going up for auction this month.

The property on the High Street of Mold in Flintshire will go under the hammer at an Allsop auction, for offers over £800,000.

Boots has a lease at the property until 2025 having been at the site since 1971.

Allsop said the site is a "prominent town centre location" with potential for further redevelopment for a self-contained first floor flat above the store.

Boots currently pays £76,000 a year in rent - with no breaks until 2025 - and deals out more than 11,000 prescriptions a month on average from the site.

The auction takes place on Tuesday March 23.
