Boots shopper reveals how to get £198 worth of beauty products for £16

Everyone loves a bargain and there is nothing better than snapping up a massive beauty haul for a fraction of the original retail price.

But one lucky bargain-hunter managed to pick up a whopping £198 worth of beauty products for just £16 at her local Boots store . Her savings were so incredibly huge she's shared it online - and told fellow shoppers exactly how they can do it too.

As first reported in Liverpool Echo , the savvy shopper took to popular Facebook money-saving group Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK to share how she managed to pick up the bundle of beauty goodies.

The shopper revealed she bought two Real Techniques makeup brush cleaning trays, two large 'blend and blur' makeup brushes and a 'miracle sponge' from the popular brand.

In addition to four bottles of Piz Buin fake tan, a bottle of shower gel and deodorant by Nivea, four boxes of L'Oreal hair dye, an eyelash dying kit by Eyelure, two Crystal branded lip balms, a multipack of Kleenex tissues and a bottle of Boots own-brand insect repellent.

The shopper found clearance bargains in her local store (Bloomberg)

The shopper explained in her viral post, which has more than 450 likes and 50 comments, that she checked the Boots clearance section at her local store and made the time to look for bargains and advised other  shoppers  looking to save some cash to do the same.

So if you're heading in store, check the isles for reduced stickered items or marked clearance sections.

Whilst there is no clearance available online at boots.com , there are still plenty of other great money-saving offers online shoppers can snap up in the beauty section including BOGOF on selected brands and 3 for 2 across thousands of products.

Shoppers can also get their hands on a free Beauty Edit Box filled with make up and skincare items from top brands like Garnier, NYX and Maybelline when spending £20 or more on selected make up.
