Boots baby sale 2019 launches and these are the deals included in the spring event

Health and beauty retailer Boots has today launched its baby and toddler event with some huge deals available for its customers.

Anticipation has been high surrounding when the money-saving event would launch, with Boots only confirming the date late yesterday afternoon.

The biggest brands stocked by Boots are included such as Tommee Tippee, Aveeno and Silver Cross.

When it comes to products, deals are available across everything from baby food, nappies and clothing to pushchairs, car seats and more.

Its clothing which is part of Boots' mini club range is being offered under a 'buy one get one free' deal on selected items.

The sale is expected to be a hit with those with kids and expectant parents as they'll be able to save a fortune on essentials for their little ones.

The start of the sale follows the announcement that Boots' were reviewing its stores with 60,000 jobs in the UK at risk.

A Boots spokesman added stores are currently being reviewed - with the group looking at poor performing shops as well "opportunities for consolidation".

It comes after the company previously said 350 jobs were at risk at its Nottingham headquarters - with other stores reshuffling across the country, including two closures in Hull's city centre next month.

There are believed to be around 60,000 UK Boots workers across 2,500 of the beauty retailers stores.

Stefano Pessina, Walgreens chief executive, said: "While we are not the only company that has been impacted by the marked change in the environment, that’s not an excuse."

Overall Walgreens said it hopes to save £1.1billion by 2022 – up from its previous target of around £750million.
