Boots last Christmas delivery dates extended to help shoppers under Tier 4 restrictions

With the Tier 4 restrictions and travel constraints across the UK, Boots is extending its last delivery dates for panicked shoppers.

Boots customers are able to make orders online at Boots.com for click and collect delivery up to 6pm on Tuesday, December 22, to get items before Christmas.

Next day home delivery options will also be available until 4pm on December 22 for Christmas arrival - good news for shoppers as all click and collect services are also free on orders over £20 reports the Mirror.

Anyone making an online order for standard home delivery will need to do it before 11:59pm today (December 21) to ensure they get gifts and essentials ahead of Christmas Day.

The high street chain is reassuring customers that it has increased capacity to deal with the extra demand.

The retailer has also confirmed that click and collect orders "are delivered straight to Boots stores via its own reliable distribution network".

The chain previously announced it would extend opening times at more than 300 stores to help shoppers during the festive season.

Boots customers will still be able to shop Christmas ranges across beauty, fragrance and star gifts as well as toiletries, baby items, medicines and other essentials in stores - all of which are remaining open.

The retailer is reminding shoppers to check opening times for local stores by heading online to Boots.com and using the store online finder tool.
