The Boots store in Nottingham city centre will be closing at the end of March.
Located in the Broadmarsh Centre, in Lister Gate, the Boots store is also home to a pharmacy and a needle exchange.
The shutting of one of the last remaining retail outlets in Lister Gate, which has been plagued by closures in the past year in particular, comes as yet another blow for the city centre.
Other big-name retailers which have announced closures in Lister Gate include River Island and WHSmith.
A poster in the window to the store reads: "We are closing on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
"Your nearest Boots store is at the Victoria Centre.
"Any uncollected prescriptions or Boots.com orders can be collected from the above store after March 31."
Boots, which has its headquarters in Nottingham, last year announced it would be shutting 200 branches after its parent company, Walgreens Boots Alliance, revealed its financial results.
Retail expert Nelson Blackley previously told Nottinghamshire Live footfall in Lister Gate had plummeted due to both the coronavirus pandemic and the fact the Broadmarsh Centre currently stands as a "half-demolished shell".
Boots has been contacted for more information, but is yet to respond with a statement.
