Boots has scrapped its 3-for-2 Christmas gifts offer, and shoppers aren't happy

If you're a keen high-street shopper, chances are you'll be familiar with Boots' annual 3 for 2 offer on Christmas gifts.

Throughout the years customers have bagged saved hundreds of pounds by using the offer, with gift sets from big brands such as Yankee Candle, Nando's and Harry Potter all included.

But shoppers will be bitterly disappointed for 2019, as the high-street retailer has announced that it is not currently running its 3 for 2 mix and match Christmas offer, and has instead replaced it with 25 per cent off selected items.

In an announcement on the website, Boots wrote: "Save 25% on 100s of Christmas gifts.

"We're not currently running our 3 for 2 promotion but you can shop the same range of gifts at 25% off."

Shoppers are now beginning to notice the absence of the deal, and it's safe to say they're not happy.

Writing on Twitter, one disgruntled consumer wrote: "Anybody know why the Boots 3 for 2 has suddenly gone?"

"Went to start the dreaded xmas shopping but @BootsUK is currently doing 25% off instead of 3 for 2. So it can wait a bit longer," said another.

"So disappointed @BootsUK where’s the 3 for 2 gone!!" demanded somebody else.

Another person tweeted out: "How come you aren't doing your 3 for 2 offer on Christmas presents? My gran and grandad got surprised when they went into store to buy theirs."

Manchester Evening News has contacted Boots for comment.
