With the announcement of the new Tier 4 restrictions and travel constraints across the UK, Boots is extending its last delivery dates for panicked shoppers.
Boots customers will now be able to make orders online at Boots.com for click and collect delivery up to 6pm on Tuesday 22 December to get items before Christmas.
Next day home delivery options will also be available until 4pm on Tuesday 22 December for Christmas arrival. All click and collect services are also free on orders over £20.
Anyone making an online order for standard home delivery will need to do it before 11:59pm today to ensure they get gifts and essentials ahead of Christmas Day.
The high street chain is reassuring shoppers that it has increased capacity to deal with increased demand. The retailer has also confirmed that click and collect orders 'are delivered straight to Boots stores via its own reliable distribution network' so shoppers won't have to worry about delays.
Like in previous lockdowns, Boots stores will remain open across the UK.
Boots customers will still be able to shop Christmas ranges across beauty, fragrance and star gifts as well as toiletries, baby items, medicines and other essentials in stores as well as online.
The chain previously announced it would extend opening times at over 300 stores to help shoppers during the festive season. The retailer is advising shoppers to check opening times for local stores by heading online to Boots.com and using the store online finder tool.
