Boots extends last delivery dates for Christmas following Tier 4 restrictions

Boots has extended its last delivery dates to give shoppers as much time as possible to order online before Christmas following the introduction of Tier 4.

Customers can now order via the Boots Click & Collect service up to 6pm on Tuesday, December 22 for delivery before Christmas to their local store.

For delivery to home, customers can now place orders up to 4pm on Tuesday with next day delivery, or up to 11.59am on Monday with standard delivery.

Although Tier 4 was introduced to parts of south England including London on Sunday, Boots stores remain open across the UK regardless of tiers as it's identified as an essential retailer.

Boots pharmacy services resume, while customers can continue to shop from the rest of the store, including beauty and gift ranges.

The health retailer has increased capacity on Boots.com in line with Christmas demand, which continues to operate 24 hours a day.

The retailer has also advised shoppers to head to their website for details on local store opening times.

Delivery extensions today come as Boots previously announced it would extend opening times at over 300 stores to help shoppers during the festive season.
