NASHIK: The slight rise in Covid cases in Nashik city has prompted a few more beneficiaries, who are 60 years and above, to take their precaution dose at the government vaccination centres.
District vaccination coordinator Ganesh Misal said that before the rise in cases, the footfall of these beneficiaries was around 500 a day. The number has now increased to over 700 daily across the district.
“The rise in number of covid active cases in the district is attracting the people towards vaccination. Perhaps the spread is reminding people that the threat of covid is far from over and hence, they are now taking up the precautionary doses,” Misal said.
