The Buddies faithful may well catch their first glimpse of new arrivals Connor Ronan and Matt Millar in the stripes this weekend.
Ronan arrived on a season-long loan from English Premier League side Wolves before the transfer deadline slammed shut, with free agent Millar arriving earlier this week.
While Ronan suffered a broken metatarsal at the end of last season while on loan as Swiss side Grasshopper, he has recovered quickly and has been training with his new St Mirren teammates this week.
Millar has also been training with the Buddies since Monday, with Jim Goodwin revealing both could make their debuts in Saturday's clash with Dundee United.
He told Renfrewshire Live Sport: "Connor has played at a really good level in all the loans he's had. He was very successful at Blackpool and at Grasshopper as well.
"I think this is another really good step in his development and he sees the value in coming to the Scottish Premiership and showcasing his talents here.
"I've got great belief in him. I've tried to get him the last two windows and I'm delighted to get him this time around. He's a real quality player, can play in a number of positions and technically he's very, very good.
"I think he's one that will excite the fans and hopefully we'll get him on the ball a lot. He broke a metatarsal in his foot, a similar injury to the one Eamonn Brophy has had.
"He's fully recovered, been training with Wolves for three weeks. He's not fully up to speed, as with Matt, as they haven't had a great deal of pre-season.

"But they're definitely fit enough to be a part of things on Saturday."
