Boost for mySociety

Regular readers will know we've been keeping a close eye on the mySociety project, introduced by Tom Steinberg in our pages in October last year. In short, it's an effort to link techy skills and financial support with great ideas for socially useful technology projects. They had the ideas, and they had plenty of skills... and now it's just won a cool £250,000 in funding from the office of the deputy Prime Minister. Glasses are, I suspect, being raised, even as I type...
