Boomtown 2019 has arrived with thousands heading to the Bristol-organised festival,
Boomtown is one of the UK’s largest festivals combining music with theatre, interactive set design, freedom and escapism.
Hosting around 60,000 people, the so-called Chapter 10 of Boomtown will be running un til Sunday, August 11 and will be showcasing a wide array of artists including Ms. Lauryn Hill, who is headlining.
Ms. Hill will be joined by other great artists such as The Streets, UB40 and Groove Armada who will also be taking top spots this year.
If you’re looking for Hip-Hop this year has got a collective of fantastic UK acts such as Little Sims, Slowthai and the entirety of the High Focus Roster.
It wouldn’t be Boomtown without Drum and Bass, this year sees pioneers of the genre Chase and Status playing alongside such acts as My Nu Leng, Redlight and Break.
House and Disco legends, Horse Meat Disco, Mall Grab and Skream are all performing DJ slots this year with Patrick Topping playing a full day set!
With 25 ‘main stages’ and 80 ‘street venues’ to discover, there is always something for everyone at Boomtown.
