Boom! Three-star 2020 offensive lineman Josh Fryar commits to Ohio State

This is getting ridiculous.

Ohio State got two more commitments today to add to the slew of recruits picking the Buckeyes this week. This time, it was in the form of high three-star center Josh Fryar out of Beech Grove, Indiana. It’s likely that he’ll slot in as a guard once in Columbus and things settle in.

At 6-5, 305 lbs., Fryar already has the size to make an immediate impact, though it’ll likely take some conditioning and strength within the OSU program before he’s all-out ready to play. He is currently rated as the No. 8 guard in the entire 2020 class according to 247Sports and adds to an already impressive offensive-line class OSU has signed — perhaps the best in the country.

Fryar was thought to be a heavy lean towards Ohio State all along, so the news is still a welcome one, but comes as no surprise.

With the flurry of commitments here recently, the Buckeyes now hold the overall No. 4 spot for the 2020 class just behind LSU.
