Boom! Take two. Four-Star 2020 defensive tackle Darrion Henry Commits to Ohio State

Ryan Day when fishing last week with a big recruiting barbecue, and now he and the staff are starting to reel in some fairly large catches. Ohio State picked up a commitment from Ben Christman earlier in the week, and now it’s gotten great news from two more Saturday.

Four-star linebacker Cody Simon announced his commitment this weekend, but so too did another four-star prospect, 6-4, 279 lb. defensive tackle Darrion Henry. Out of Cincinnati Princeton, Henry is rated as the eleventh best defensive tackle and No. 121 overall prospect in the class of 2020 according to 247Sports.

He had offers from LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, and others, but was considered a heavy Ohio State lean all along. He made it official Saturday.

With the commitment, the Buckeyes jumped over both Michigan (6) and Georgia (5) for the fourth rated class in the 2020 recruiting cycle, also according to 247Sports.
