Ohio State got its tenth commitment of the 2020 class Tuesday and it came via the kicking game. Jake Siebert out of La Salle High School in Cincinnati, announced his commitment to the Buckeyes via Twitter.
The 6-1, 190 pounder is rated by many as the best kicker in the class. He had offers from Michigan State and UCLA among others, but he picked the Buckeyes in the end.
The commitment of a kicker won’t exactly make the big boys of college football tremble, but we’ve all seen games and championships won and lost on the leg of a scholarship player.
With the news, Ohio State now sits at No. 9 in the 247Sports Team Composite Rankings for 2020, with a ton of momentum going.
