Boom! Four-star wide-receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr. commits to Ohio State

The Ohio State football team got a big time commitment today with the announcement of 4-star wide-receiver Marvin Harrison, Jr. Yes, he’s that guy — the one that’s the son of former Indianapolis Colts wide-receiver and Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison.

Harrison, Jr. is a big-time prospect himself for the 2021 class. In fact, according to 247Sports, the 6-4, 184 pounder is the No. 8 rated wide-receiver and fifty-fourth overall prospect in the entire class. He had been thought to be an Ohio State lean for quite some time, and today he made it semi-official.

Harrison, Jr. already had other offers from the likes of Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State and others.

The commitment continues the hot recruiting overall, and within the wide-receiver position. Harrison, Jr. is now the sixth top-fifteen receiver for the next two recruiting cycles wide-receiver coach Brian Hartline and staff have hauled in.

With the commitment, Ohio State is now has the early No. 4 rated recruiting class for 2021 also according to 247Sports. Only Miami, Texas and Notre Dame are ahead at this point in the process. However, they all have more commitments as well.
