Boom! 4-Star offensive tackle for the 20201 class commits to Ohio State

Head coach Ryan Day and Ohio State have landed another commitment to the class of 2021.

According to his Twitter feed, four-star offensive tackle Ben Christman out of Richfield, Ohio has given his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes. The recruiting website 247Sports has the 6-6, 299 lb. Christman rated as the No. 9 offensive tackle, and 4th overall recruit in the entire class.

He had offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Michigan among others, but chose to end things and choose Ohio State.

The commitment marks the Buckeyes’s fourth for the 2021 class. It includes the overall No. 2 recruit (Jack Sawyer), quarterback Kyle McCord (51), wide-receiver Jayden Ballard (110), and of course Christman.

The class currently ranks as the third best in the country behind Miami and Notre Dame, also according to 247Sports. Ryan Day might just be getting started too …
