While the class of 2020 is beginning to shape up, and will most certainly still add plenty more pieces, another domino for the class of 2021 has just fallen.
Four-star 2021 Massillon wide receiver Jayden Ballard announced via Twitter on Friday that he has committed to Ohio State.
He also had offers from Power 5 schools such as Michigan State and Notre Dame among others.
As the No. 20 wide receiver by 247Sports, Ballard is one of the more underrated wideouts in his class. He possesses a 4.45 40-yard dash and he showed out at Ohio State’s 7-on-7 camp back on June 17.
He is the third commitment for Ohio State’s recruiting class of 2021, joining defensive end Jack Sawyer and quarterback Kyle McCord.
He’ll undoubtedly be one of what could be many recruits who commit to the Buckeyes this weekend. We’ll still be on the watch with what happens out of this huge recruiting weekend at Ohio State, so come back and see if anything else happens.
